Rambling, for the purpose of rambling

Day 2 of no work due to Frankenstorm, and I love it. I don't necessarily want to be stuck inside, but it's much better than having to go to work. I'm going to be more productive today. I did a lot yesterday, but there's more household projects I can do today, and I hope to get to the gym, pending it is open. I have 7 more miles to run by end of day tomorrow to reach my goal of 65 miles for the month of October. Plan is to get a run in today of 4-5 miles and maybe a 3-4 mile run tomorrow. That will have me SURPASS my goal. I did it last month (ran 61 instead of 60) and intend to get it done this month.FINGERS CROSSED! Just called the gym, and they are OPEN! Wahoo... gonna type this blog and lace up my shoes!

Speaking of blogs.. I want to get better at doing this. Like learn how to add pictures, maybe, even get a 100 followers. I promise I'll even blog more.. cause its fun..I don't know where to start.. anyone have ideas?

Working on some big things for the next month or so. Need something to do to take my mind off of a particular thing that has been on my mind constantly.  Update on that coming soon. Gonna get ready for the gym so I can bust out some mileage! Peace, homies.

  1. Where are you located in relation to the storm where you are seriously considering running? Is it flooded in your area? I live in Texas and have been through plenty of hurricanes and if it's flooded, you should not be going for a run. Please be safe!

  2. Good luck on your mileage! Did you see the mileage challenge on Run Eat Repeat (runeatrepeat.com)? I just signed up. You should check it out.

  3. THanks Susan, will look into it. Little nervous about November, I am jam packed with stuff to do. Rebecca- I was in southcentral PA. As of now there is no flooding in my area, but there are some trees that were uprooted, and some branches. We made it out much better than some neighboring counties. Thank you for your concern.

  4. PS. Ran 4.5 miles today, will do at least 3 tomorrow, and that means I'll be OVER my goal.... and yes, I've always been an over achiever :-)

  5. Good job on your run and on meeting and surpassing your goal. Glad to hear that everything is OK in your area. I've been seeing all of the pictures of damage and flooding and I was worried.
